State of New York to purchase historic Grand Central

The nation busiest railroad terminal will soon be owned by the State of New York.

The Metropolitan Transportation Authority, the transit agency in charge of subway, bus and commuter rail operations in the New York City area, announced Tuesday that they will be purchasing Grand Central Terminal from a holding company for $35 million.
