What's New York City's Zip Code?

If you're looking for the zip code for a particular address anywhere in New York City, or outside of New York City, the United States Postal Service has a website that can find that particular zip code for you. Its called "Look Up a ZIP Code".

Here's how it works. It only takes a few seconds.

First, go to usps.com and click on the "Look Up a Zip Code" icon, which is located on the left hand side of the homepage. A pop-up window should appear.

Next, enter the street address of which you're going to send your letter, follow by the city and state. If the address includes an apartment or suite number, enter that as well.

Once you click on the "Find" button, you will get the full address with the zip code, follow by a dash and a four digit number at the end of the a zip code.

The samples below is what it suppose to look like:

123 West 54th Street
New York, NY 10001-2345


If you want to double check a zip code, you can use this website as well. Just follow the instruction above and enter the zip code you want to double check. Then click on the "Find" button.

So, there you have it. Now, you know where you can look up for a particular zip code in New York City or beyond.
