Is there a Hot Topic store in New York City?

If you're a fan of the California-based retail chain Hot Topic and want to know where there is one in the City, you will need to make a little trip to Elmhurst, Queens. That because the only store in the five boroughs of New York City is located inside the Queens Center Mall on Queens Boulevard near Woodhaven Boulevard.

To get to the Queens Center Mall, take the "M" or "R" trains, (Orange or Yellow lines on the subway map) to Woodhaven Boulevard and walk a short distance to the mall from the subway station. You can't miss the massive 970,000 square foot (90,000 sq meter) building when you exit the subway.

The fare on the subway is $2.25 one way ($4.50 round trip with a pay-per ride MetroCard). However, if you're in town for a week, you can purchase a weekly unlimited ride MetroCard for $29, which is a huge money saver.
