If you're going to be taking your camera to either Yankee Stadium or CitiField while on your trip to New York City this summer, here is some information need to know about their photo taking policy.
Yankee Stadium
While you are at Yankee Stadium watching a game and grabbing a hotdog, you should know that single-frame flash photography is permitted, however, tripods, extended length zoom lenses, other professional camera equipment, movie cameras and any other video or audio recording equipment are not permitted in the Stadium.
In addition, you are not permitted to transmit or aid in transmitting any account, description, picture, video, audio, reproduction or other information about the games without the express written permission of Major League Baseball an the New York Yankees.
In other words, if not a member of the press, you can not transmit any accounts or description of the game without the express written permission from the aforementioned entities.
CitiField
At CitiField, small still film or still digital cameras are permitted but commercial grade audio, video and photographic equipment is not permitted due to security considerations.
Also, like at Yankee Stadium, the transmission or aiding in the transmission of any account, description, picture, video, audio, reproduction or other information about the games is not permitted.
